DailySplice up for the VIATeC emerging company of the year

VIATeC FinalistVictoria BC, April 24, 2009 – After 18 months of hard work, DailySplice continues to gain momentum as one of this year’s VIATeC Emerging Company of the Year Finalists.

The VIATeC awards are a celebration of the achievements of technology companies large and small in and around the Capital Region District. DailySplice is pleased to be recognized as one of the emerging companies in Victoria’s largest industry.

“I’ve personally watched and admired those companies that have come before us.” Says DailySplice CEO, Rian Bowden. “It’s a great feeling to now be one of those companies in that path and now just looking ahead to the next level of success.”

DailySplice has recently signed up a number of clients in the emergency service industry. The company hopes to play a part in the moderinzation of municpal and emergency services.

Victoria BC, July 23, 2008 – DailySplice is proud to be the newest member of VIATeC, Vancouver Island’s conduit for connecting people, resources and knowledge in the technology sector. With the help and support of the VIATeC community, the company hopes to grow into one of Victoria’s notable up and coming new companies over the next year.

DailySplice was first established in September 2007 when the founders, won a local business plan competition hosted by the IDC worth $15,500. Since then, the company has been working around the clock to provide a better solution to podcast discovery and distribution. Over the year, the company has become good friends with other members of the VIATeC community. “We are now happy to be one of the VIATeC companies, we feel a little more real now and look forward to participating in all the fun and educational stuff we’ve been watching them do for the past year.”

Over the next year, DailySplice will be on the lookout for keen web development, online marketing, and sales talent to help bring their product to market. The company has completed its initial set of products and will be launching and releasing features over the next few months. The company looks forward to seeing its ideas get put into use, and hopes to find others to join the team and share in that excitement.
