Today on the Podcast Guide we have an interview with Mark and Andrea, the hosts of the popular children’s book podcast Just One More Book. Just One More Book has reviews of books that are done in a coffee shop in Ontario as well as interviews with children’s book authors and illustrators. You wont be able to find a better childrens book podcast than this anywhere, and probably wont be able to find better children’s book reviews and interviews anywhere outside of podcasting either. Mark is also a passionate podcast enthusiast and co-host of the Canadian Podcast Buffet. Hi, and thanks for checking out today’s podcast guide! On Mondays we review as many podcasts as we can in 5 minutes, so hopefully you’ll find one or two new shows to check out. This week we are going to try something new… to not record so many podcasts! We love doing shows every day, and we know you love listening, but we’ve decided to cut 2 of our days. Traveler’s Journal Interview (re-run!)

The Traveler’s Journal is one of the highest quality travel podcasts on the Internet with probably the most episodes than any other travel podcast. It’s only a minute and a half long, so it’s a perfect show to add to your splice. If you’re a podcaster, or you’re interested in podcast, you will find this interview especially intriguingly. The producer, David Bear, has been doing these kinds of recordings since before there was even such a term as podcast. He originally started the Traveler’s Journal for the radio, which was broadcast internationally. Now he produces a number of great shows including the Tai Chi Power Hour and a whole porfolio of podcasts over at the Pittsburg Post-Gazette called the Pittsburg Hear and Now podcasts. He’s got some tips for podcasters and some educated opinions about the medium. Enjoy the interview!

SDR News has been a familiar face for a long time for most tech enthusiasts who listen to podcasts. We were lucky enough to snag an interview with Andy McCaskey, the host of the show, and had a lot of fun learning about some of thing he’s learned along the way. SDR News does a fantastic job of covering all the tech news that is showing up on all the social news sites like Slashdot, Digg, and Reddit and the podcast makes an excellent addition to your daily podcast mix.
