The Dread Central Podcast: Episodes

Hear Uncle Creepy rant about The Last Exorcism Part 2. Hear Buz explode with rage over “The Walking Dead” season finale. Hear Matt Fini and Andrew Kasch vigorously debate Uncle Creepy over the merits of Stoker. Hear Foy describe the lunacy of Tyler Perry’s Temptation.

Wait, what was ...

A sporting new March Madness edition of the Foycast has arrived, and you didn’t even have to wait half a year for it. If you’re into schlocky, obscure, offbeat sports flicks, then this edition will be a treat for you. The Karate Kid goes diving! Leif Garrett plays foosball! Post-apocalyptic snooker ...

At the outset of this edition of Dinner for Fiends, I joked that I had a feeling this was going to be a pretty damn good horror podcast. You can decide whether or not that’s the case, but let me assure you the recording of this edition was a living nightmare.

Uncle Creepy, Matt Fini, Andrew ...

I thought it was only the number 13 that was supposed to be cursed. Turns out 12 would be an unlucky number when it comes to the Foycast because this 12th (technically the 13th) episode of my totally senseless podcast was cursed by a Skype recorder.

I did a 107-minute long Foycast with Matt ...

At long, long, long, long, long, long, long last… Dinner for Fiends has returned with a two-hour epic-sized edition with a lot of ground to cover jam-packed with spoiler-riffic discussions of the last three months of horror movie and television and all the sniping and snarking you love or hate or ...

Going into this edition of Dinner for Fiends, we were all thinking there wouldn’t be much territory to cover. Turns out there was actually much more to talk about than we expected. Of course all conversations were sandwiched between the usual nonsense.

On the menu today... The Possession, ...

It’s dinnertime once more. The fiends have all gathered to sink their fangs into Chernobyl Diaries, Battleship, The Amazing Spider-Man, Prometheus, and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. We’ll wash it all down with some listener emails for dessert, some of which are actually coherent.

Uncle ...

So many people have repeatedly asked, “When are you going to do another Foycast?” Your 16-month wait is finally over! The 275,986th most pointless podcast on the Internet finally returns to the broadcast airwaves to rob listeners of 90 minutes of their time. Careful what you wish for.

The ...

Dinner is served once again. More like a buffet this time given how much we have on our plates. Over a dozen movies to digest. Email for desert. And somewhere in between we'll learn that Matt Fini has an irrational hatred of pants.

On this edition we'll debate the merits of The Cabin in the ...

If you like Dinner for Fiends episodes that consist mostly of us jabbering about nothing of great importance, then this nearly two-hour installment is going to be music to your ears.

Myself, Uncle Creepy, Matt Fini, Buz, and (for about a half-hour) Andrew Kasch have returned for a Dinner for ...

Kate Beckinsale in fetish wear drops from ceilings. Super-powered teens go all Columbine. Ghosts terrorize Harry Potter. Liam Neeson beats the crap out of wolves. Movie endings confound. Viewer mail confounds even more so. Plus, film snob douchbaggery, two-headed sharks, men on ledges, and much, much ...

The first Dinner for Fiends of 2012 is here, and what a way to begin the new year! A defiant Uncle Creepy braces himself before a firing squad of his peers as he stands alone in his defense of the universally reviled The Devil Inside. It’s just like 12 Angry Men except with five people on a podcast ...

Dinner for Fiends is back for what may be its final installment of the year. There’s not a whole lot of horror going on at the movies of late – unless you count how much money the latest Twilight sequel has made – so in addition to Breaking Dawn we’re mostly talking quality horror on TV today.

If ...

Here we go, folks. A real Dinner for Fiends. No scheduling conflicts. No bird attacks. The usual suspects (Creepy, Buz, Foy, Fini, Kasch) have finally all assembled for a new episode. You would think with only two new wide release horror movies this past month, there wouldn’t be that much to talk ...

What you are about to listen to – should you dare to listen to it, is not a Dinner For Fiends podcast. This is a DFF for that turned into a Foycast that turned into obscenity-laden chaos. You will hear what happens when absolutely everything goes wrong. And you will hear what happens when Uncle ...

Open up wide and prepare to choke on a great big serving of Dinner for Fiends. The past few weeks haven’t been very kind to the horror releases at the multiplex, and we’re not much kinder to them either. You’d be an idiot to miss out on this smorgasbord of a show.

Uncle Creepy, Buz, ...

After too long of a hiatus Dinner for Fiends is back and better than ever. At least we hope so. You see, part of the reason for the long delay was trying to work out the logistics of how to make the actual show itself sound better. Well, thanks to a myriad of well placed phone calls, swiping credit ...

The Rapture didn’t happen, but we did finally record a new Dinner for Fiends. An uproarious, epic-sized edition that Uncle Creepy feels may be one of the best ever. We’ll let you decide on that.

This edition opens with me ranting about Dylan Dog: Dead of Night and BloodRayne: The Third ...

Ring the dinner bell because Dinner For Fiends is back for a jam-packed feature length episode filled with everything from thoughtful to heated discussion. An often rowdy installment in which we debate and discuss ten different films, bust each other's chops whenever possible, and partake in one of ...

This weekend the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences hands out the Oscars for best movies of 2010 and the Razzies hand out their awards for the worst movies of 2010. But first, I have my own belated movie awards to dish out: the annual tradition of taking one last jab at the worst direct-to-DVD ...
