Broca's Area: Episodes

Join us again this fine Saturday as we buy groceries and such. There are dandelions everywhere. We miss Podcastra.

Isabelle's quest for running shoes was not successful, my quest for Pernod was, so really it all balances out.

It was smelly near the LCBO, just saying.....

We ...

Join us as we have another adventurous Saturday shopping for food, liquor and so much more!

We talked about a few different things, including Isabelle's new workout routine and art. I then made Isabelle laugh a lot which really is one of my few skills.

We then took Jon along to the ...

We started out on a quick grocery trip on Monday as I was away at the Conference on Comparative Cognition with Madeleine. We talked about podcasting again, which seems to be a running theme. If you haven't yet checked out Isabelle's new art podcast you should. THere's a link on the left, click ...

In this instalment we answer the age old question 'why would anyone podcast?' OK, age old if an age is about oh 11 years I guess. And 'answer' in that, well, we talked about it , I am not sure that we actually answered the question.

I, as usual, took a stand on something for no reason. ...

Another Saturday, another shopping trip.

As yesterday was a holiday and tomorrow is a holiday everyone and their damned brother was at the grocery store, it was a mad house, a mad house! The liquor store was much more subdued, and my theory is that seriously religious people who are into ...

Join us in our grocery and liquor buying trip for this week.

Isabelle is starting up a new podcast project about art. She'll do it over Skype with a friend of ours, should be good. Stay tuned to this site for details.

Future Shop is no longer. Sort of weird. I hope they aren't ...

No we are not talking about Stompin' Tom. Indeed, I really can't stand his music. I am sure he is a nice guy....

It is Jonathan's birthday tomorrow, and he loves Sudbury and hotels, so we went to Sudbury today. I am typing this from the fabulous Holiday Inn in the nickel city.

We ...

It has been a week of work, and school. Well I guess really they are all like that.
Isabelle filled in a questionnaire about transportation to and from school for kids with autism. That of course is fine, the bad part? Well it was filled with undefined acronyms.

She has a hell ...

Warning, this is a Goyetche free episode......

We started out wondering what we would do if someone actually decided to pay us for podcasting. This of course is extremely unlikely.

So we talked about Isabelle's drawing group, which seems to be going well in the new studio space, we ...

Hey, these weekly shopping podcasts area a thing.

Isabelle and I talked a bit about art (specifically making videos and making prints with acetone), as usual, about Bob, as usual, and about social media, as usual.

So, we seem to be making a habit of these grocerycasts.

We talked about how Isabelle got an honourable mention in an art show, we talked about taste and, well, other stuff.

Plus you got to go into the liquor store with us!

Isabelle and I went out on a bit of a shopping trip and, as is now our custom, we recorded.

Many topics were touched on, including the environment, capitalism, negativity on the facebooks and then we got some gas and went to Canadian Tire.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

So, we went to a play. 'Last Christmas' was put on by Theatre Algoma, which is the University affiliated theatre group here in town. It is a pretty cool story about a family dealing with loss at the Holidays. It was a fine production and we had a good time. There were a couple of really intense ...

We are back as usual on CNDOP. In a way this is sort of (like the hedging there) our second anniversary of our relaunch. Remember, with our dryer lighting on fire and all of that?

So, anyway, come along with us in our car on a trip to the grocery store, the liquor store and then of course ...

We happily bring you a two parter. The first bit was recorded on one of our camping trips. FUCK IT WAS COLD.

Then we were in the back yard, with a bonfire, and we discussed a multitude of topics.

Enjoy.

We just got back from a great camping trip with some friends (Jeremy and Cheryl) up at Sleeping Giant Provincial Park near Thunder Bay.

As they are listeners, and friends, we had to do a show. Hilarity ensued.

I really think Jeremy and Cheryl ought to get their own show.
<div ...
