At DailySplice we believe that the web is the most exciting and world changing communications technology in history. DailySplice lives to discover new and innovative ways of using new media made possible by the internet to connect and educate the our planet. Our mission is to bring new media to one oldest and most important communication objectives: to deliver safety and emergency information to our local communities.
Founded in 2007 by a team of business and computer science graduates at the University of Victoria, DailySplice has been working to break down barriors between modern technology and everyday people. The goal of all DailySplice software is to provide everyone the opportunity to easily enhance their communications objectives with podcasts.
DailySplice’s first major software release, Podcast Stations, acheives this goal by allowing people to create and publish podcasts easier than ever before. With this software release, anyone who has access to a telephone can become a podcaster.
DailySplice currently has offices in Victoria, British Columbia. The company has won a number of prestigious awards both locally and nationally for business planning and innovation. The original founders include seasoned podcast expert Rian Bowden and web application professional Lewis Sobotkiewicz.
