1. Make sure the front part of the strap goes around the heel of the neck which will hold your banjo in place. 2. Thread the banjo strap behind the tailpiece to ensure that there is no undue pressure on the tailpiece. 2. Check your attachment points often! Thanks Craig for the great question, Ryan
